I wasn’t planning on posting today, but, on my way home after coffee with a friend, I happened upon a some curious shenanigans.
Exhibit 1: Church Furniture on the Move
The Spanish have a penchant for lugging church furniture through the streets. Said items usually rest on the shoulders of burly young men, with a long line of punters trailing behind, but today’s event looks more like a repair job. This must be the box into which the virgin goes before they saw her in half… OK, despite being nominally catholic, I haven’t a clue what this thing is!!!
Exhibit 2: Large Flock of Uniformed People
Exhibit 3: Nutter From the Days of Yore
I guess, if you’re gonna get mugged in broad daylight, it may as well be in style…
I love the randomness of life! The last guy is fantastic. And despite my Catholic upbringing, I can’t help you out with the first pic either!

I’m getting better at extracting my camera from the bottom of my bag and pointing it in the right direction. There’s so much stuff I’ve missed due to not being quick enough off the mark!

Ooh I like the pic of the old furniture being moved on the bright new equipment.

The first kind of looks like the things (at least in Orthodox churches) that hold saintly relics? All these are great, wish my days were so exciting.
