On my way back home, I took a picture of these enormous dolls (about 5m in height), which are paraded through town every year at the start of the Corpus Cristi celebration week. After their outing, they remain in front of the Town Hall  for the rest of the week, overseeing the proceedings

    I can see why you could never get tired of the view, it is absolutely stunning. Hmm. Sometimes I do miss Europe! (On the other hand, I can brag about having had a tarantula on my doorstep yesterday. Now that’s something, too, isn’t it? 😉 )

        No, there are stunning temples, that’s true, and I love visiting those sites. But lately I’ve been missing this European vibe – a short visit to Europe hopefully soon will fix that!
        Hmm. You know, the camera was the last thing on my mind when the cleaning ladies were screaming. I felt it was more important to close the door!
