The Weekly Don Quixote: The Entire Saga In One Mural

We’re back once more in the town of Alcalá de Henares, where Cervantes was born, and where our two compañeros DonQ and SanchoP not only lay claim to their own bench for resting their weary bones, but they’ve also taken possession of an entire wall!

Then can I mark it off my list. You know who really loved Don Quixote: John Adams, Yep, America’s second and one of the most crankiest presidents.

There are a lot of idiots out there. Just ask Adams: Jefferson, Washington, Ben Franklin–they clearly didn’t know what they were doing.

I remember standing in Cape Town staring at Robben Island, where he was in prison. We didn’t have time to visit, but just seeing it was powerful.

Just found this post! Lovely pics, a different side to the Alcala de Henares I see at work. I used to work in a manufacturer and all I knew about Alcala de Henares was a massive Toys R Us warehouse 🙂
