Time to get your thinking caps on, chaps. I took some shots of the fields surrounding The Village in Bavaria where I grew up. Do you recognise the crop plants?
They are very common – each and every one of you will have consumed them in one way or another, and you’ll be eating foods that contain some of these on a daily basis.
No. 1
No. 3:
(3a and 3b are the same type of crop, ditto 4a and 4b)
No. 4:
No. 5
So, what are the five crops? Who’s going to get all of them right first?!
Not me! I can barely name food products when they’re right in front of me at the supermarket. 😉 Is one of them wheat?

It might be… 😉

1-corn; 2-wheat; 3-barley; 4-oats; 5-rapeseed.

I’ve never been there before – and it has to be slightly more exciting than Drugby? Right? Right?!?

Urgh. It’s the ugliest thing. Uglier than even Corby 😦
But, I must confess, I’m so desperate for a Boots and a supermarket that doesn’t smell bad and has decent packaged off, I’d jump at the chance of being teleported to B’ham!

I do love Boots! At this stage I’m excited about spending a few hours in Stansted Airport – just as long as it isn’t here!!

If I never see that girl again… she finished yesterday so I thought I’d have a couple of days of peace. No, she’s decided to stay on for 2 extra nights as it’s free room and board. Never mind that she hasn’t slept in the same bed as her hubby for 5 weeks now – it’s free here, that’s the important thing!

I suspect hubby needed a break and he’s convinced her of that 😉

Weirdly, he adores her. He’s always touching her and trying to hold her hand etc. She just ignores him and keeps on talking… 😉

LOL – hops is not a grain, but an enormous climbing plant that looks more like ivy than anything else 😉 They grow it on enormous scaffolding frames – it’s a very distinctive sight indeed.
