The first shot is of Segovia’s historic town centre, taken LOOKING DOWN from the top of Segovia Castle. (That darn turret sure had a lot of stairs!!!)
The second shot was taken at sunset in Santa Barbara, Toledo, LOOKING UP at the Monastery of San Juan De Los Reyes (left) and Puerta Del Cambrón (right).

Great photos. And you’ve caught birds in both of them ( I admit I wouldn’t have noticed them in the first one, so thank you eagle-eyed Anna). The second could definitely be an advert for the Toledo Tourist Board. Thanks for joining the challenge again, I have loved all your entries.

Erm…the first one had a caption pointing them out! They are kinda hard to spot in the second one, though.

Nah, I reckon they just deal with the easy bit… leaving women lumbered with these things for the rest of their lives!
