Sunday Sunsets: The Stripey Skies of Toledo

Central Spain is blessed with the most amazing sunsets. You’ll have noticed by now that I’m quite obsessed 🙂

I took these a couple of weeks ago, by Avenida De La Reconquista, and then going up Las Escaleras Mecanicas (Toledo locals might be interested in that).

Beautiful. It rained here for a couple of days, and then today it looked all day like a thunderstorm is gonna break out – heavy dark clouds all over the sky etc – and now BOOM, blue skies and sunlight! out of nowhere.

I think that’s just flour. This involved me reaching into a bag and pulling out the biggest spud. 🙂 Naturally I tried to buy frozen chips first but the local shop doesn’t stock them…

Wow! Those sunsets are as beautiful as the ones I’ve seen in San Diego.
I’m going there in a few weeks so we should have a “sunset contest” 🙂
Though, I think you’re a much better photographer than I am!
