Today, I’m linking my weekly Street Snaps post up with Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge, which happens to run under the theme of “Candid Shots” – what a perfect match 🙂
So, what did I spot this week in Toledo’s interminable tourist tumult?
And now moving on the popular Artist’s Corner segment:
I spotted this guy with his peculiar-looking contraption just down the road from me, taking pictures of the World’s Smallest Window. [In case you’d like to admire this curious little hole in the wall close up, here is my short post from a couple of weeks ago.]
And, just to finish off, a pic of my friend and I admiring the quality merchandise on offer in Toledo’s shops:

My first thought, looking at the last shot, was – OMG is that my favorite cheese??

LOL! One track mind, yours!
Reminds me of Debbie’s pea pod shot from yesterday 😉

Excuse me? NO. _I_ think about food. That’s my track. It’s you and Debbie who are mammarially-obsessed.

Oh, and those crazy stilettos? You see them every day in Moscow, especially in -30C over black ice.

Yes, I’d expect that in Eastern Europe…!

Whereas I manage to slip and trip in flats. That part of my Russian DNA is dormant, apparently.

I’m the same – something about having feet with really high arches (my chiropodist said), misaligned hips and a good dash of clumsiness.
At least nobody expects a middle aged German cake aficionado to come tottering along in heels, phew!

Woah, that first woman apparantly wanted to wear ALL the colours…

And she succeeded!!! Actually, I quite like that outfit. Anything’s better than all-beige/slugde colours. My pet hate!

The first one with the coloured ensemble might be Italian 🙂
Love the antistress tits, LOL

She was Asian, which, of course, does not totally preclude her also being Italian, just makes it less likely.
Got Italians lined up for next week, watch this space!

I love this series. It is amazing what people will wear. All I can think is some people have some very strange mirrors at home!
I was just thinking the anti stress photo was a good match for my peas in a pod! Anna, I trip in flats too. I’m short enough to think they might be useful, but then I’m shorter still if I’m lying on the pavement!

LOL! I’ve gone flying across the pavement in Toledo a few times, despite wearing flat shoes. Once, I was carrying two five litre water bottles, arhgh. Got two left feet, me.

Such a fun series of candid shots. I like the photographer best. But there is a good argument for any of them to be the best!! Great entry!

That is a really great compliment, re. anti-stress blog! Just what I was aiming for 🙂

When my dad had a minor stroke, I bought him some squeezy anti-stress things to build up the strength in his hands. Reckon he would have made a faster recovery if I’d happened across the booby de-stressers!

My Dad had those, too! They only issue the boring ones on prescription, I guess 😉

They should really get more creative with those things! I think we’ve spotted a gap in the market!

I fear there may be a danger of those things…erm… PERMANENTLY relaxing some poor sod trying to recover.

There is nothing that says class like jean shorts and hooker heels. I like that she seems to be holding on for dear life to her poor date.

It’s another manifestation of the ‘Latin American’ style disaster I’ve commented on before. And yes, in that outfit, you don’t just keep your man, you really NEED to hang on to him, lol.

Hmm, maybe there’s more logic in that outfit than one would first assume. Really able to “hold on” to your man.

These are ace pics! You made me guffaw with the Czech one… hehe. I’ve been laaaaame with this challenge myself, I miss soooo many street moments, but I am determined to snap a worthy one one of these days… 🙂 Love the colourful gal in the first pic, as somebody who mainly wears black and grey I was totally taken aback!

It is great fun doing those… you never know what you might come away with at the end of the day (hopefully not a black eye!)
Got a couple more pics of the colourful girl, might use her for a photo challenge at a later point.
