Last weekend, I was able to take these photos, thanks to my lovely new friend Lorena, who provided me with me access to an historic building’s ‘turret room’. Totally worth huffing and puffing all the way up there!
This is my entry to this week’s A Lingering Look At Window’s photo challenge laid on by Dawn.
Usually, participants post pictures of intriguing and fancy windows from the outside, but today, just for a change, I’m approaching the task from the inside out, giving you a glimpse at the beautiful city of Toledo framed by a window.
That top photo is pure magic. My god, you really have become photo-obsessed!

Not quite yet… once I start lugging around a 3kg Nikkolta or whatever those things are called, 24/7, then you can start to worry 😉

There seems to be an inexhaustible number of angles and viewpoints… it’s just getting access to them that’s tricky!

That seriously looks like a painting! My next location needs to be much more picturesque, like Toledo!

I gather from Anna’s last post that Moscow is lacking on that front during the interminable winter season…

Will you accept lats?

I’d much prefer some currency that didn’t rhyme with klutz.

It doesn’t! Although I’m not sure how to pronounce klutz 😉 We’ll be in the euro in January if you can wait that long 😉

It so does!
Of course, I haven’t a clue how you pronounce lats….
By then Spain will have bounced out of the Euro, so I might be moving to Riga.

By February, we’ll probably be the only country left in it 😉 Lats is pronounced exactly how it looks! Like slats, plaits, rats, bats 😉

That’s what I was hoping. In which case, it rhymes (sort of) with klutz. Well, klutz rhymes with sluts, so there is a hint of difference. Unless you’re Spanish. This is starting to rub off on me.

That kind of rhyming would not pass my high standards. Or even make it into a limerick 😉

I agree, as long as there aren’t any angry cats around.

Photographing animals is not my forte…. I tried with some cute cats last week – total disaster. Don’t fancy my chances with angry ones 😉

If you do try to snap pictures of angry cats I suggest wearing protective gear. I nearly lost an eye. And well, my pride, is completely shot.

I shall remember that!
BTW, you just reminded me of a couple of pictures of animals I took a few days ago which turned out (sort of) OK. Putting them up now 🙂
