I just got back from lunch with my intercambio Óscar. We’ve both had a fraught morning, for different reasons, but there’s nothing like good food to lift one’s spirits. Evidently!
Yes, but here’s the difference: You’re at work, and you can’t very well doze off sprawled across your desk. I’m at home, and The Bed is right next door, with nobody supervising me 😉
Óscar does indeed look very pleased with his lunch! Did yours have the same effect? Hope it did the trick, it does look a bit delicious (I am a terrible vegetarian aren’t I, but it can look good without me having the slightest idea of what it tastes like. That’s OK, I’m appreciating the aesthetics nothing more! :P) Provecho! 🙂
What’s he having? Cause yours looks too healthy and sensible for my liking 😉

Monkfish. Topped with styrofoam worms 😉

Why are you so mean to me? Oh yeah, I am not seeing wine on your side…

No, I stuck to mineral water… if I drink at lunchtime I’m dead in the afternoon.

The key is to carry on through the afternoon… (we had wine at work today 🙂 )

You must be doing quite well to afford such classy lunches with expensive mineral water 😉

Not really… but I’m quite happy to spend every last penny on decent food! Got my priorities all wrong 😉

Nothing like food to lift my spirits for sure…styrofoam worms? What on earth is that?
