Can’t think of anything entertaining at the moment! Must try to create some adventure. Work, work, work makes Linda a very dull girl. There will be another search term post soon though – to treat myself when I hit my next milestone!
A german gardener once coined the word “A garden without phlox is not a simple mistake, it’s a sin against the summer”. And rightly so. phlox paniculata and the other sorts of this flower are a sight to be seen (and some of them also to be smelled).
Phlox?? Interesting… never heard of that one before. To me it looked like a hibiscus except the absence of the stamen. Did you also get that idea when you saw it first?
That is a beauty! Your photos are amazing!

P.s. I haven’t heard ‘ta’ in sooooo long! Amazing how a tiny word can invoke such nostalgia! 🙂

There’s only a small group of select folk one can use that kind of vocab with, and you’re it!!!! Not even sure if it’s used outside of East Anglia!

I’m in flower heaven 🙂 I could actually die at this moment – there’s nothing else I have to do now that I have seen that image.

I didn’t know what it was either, until one of the commenters said it was a “phlox”. I’ve googled it, and he’s probably right 😉
