Yeah, the first one is lovely 😉 And the perfect way to take a photo – just surprised you put the cake down long enough 😉 You even got a couple of lanterns in – good job!
You really have an eye for an image. Kudos! That first photo was taken at my favorite time of day, just after sunset when the sky becomes a truly amazing blue, and the contrast with the warm incandescent lights sets it all off nicely. The warm pink of the houses in the fading sunlight adds the perfect contrast.
The photo of the tram was also wonderful, especially with the pedestrian on the right to give it scale.

San Francisco, CA Where we took some nice photos a few days ago and are considering posting them.
I’m just waiting for Linda to complain about “too many tram photos”. She’s already dissed lanterns and flowers, so I’m probably trundling along the edge here…
Purty. The air looks warm. I cant believe I never rode the tram!

I did. And, thanks to the pickpockets, it was the most expensive ride of my life…! (if you exclude plane journeys).

Before we get to that, I’ve got a whole month of palm trees for you. And I know you LOVE trees.

I can handle palm trees if I’m near them lying on a beach somewhere – otherwise I’ll just be green with envy!

Yeah, WP won’t let me use a smaller font in comments. I’d be on around a size 4 by now 😉

Oh, gorgeous! I’m definitely booking my flights this week. Not sure when for yet , but before summer.

Before summer is a good idea. I believe it gets quite hot, and that might not be so much fun on a photo hunt.
