You know what? I don’t either, usually! … but this one looked so delicious, and it was only tiny, so I thought I’d take the risk. And I was pleasantly surprised!

I just bought some, along with almond croissants, yesterday at the St Lawrence Market. How I’ve managed to not take a single bite yet is a mystery to me. Dessert later, after our Father’s Day BBQ dinner.

Oh, almond croissants… I so want one… but, bafflingly, despite being the land of marzipan, they don’t seem to exist in Spain! Well, I could probably razz one up in Madrid somewhere….

That looks amazing. Sweet things for breakfast. That deserves a good tongue-prod from the side and then a munch down on that pastry.
Beer, wine and savoury things from 11pm. Life can be simple.
