The snow just keeps coming. These are the winters I remember from my childhood. Here’s a selfie:

These things could kill you…!

Good luck getting home on that!

He doesn’t care!

Things can’t be that bad… the beer deliveries are still running! Well, this is Bavaria, after all 😉

As long as the beer is being delivered, all is right in the world.

I miss the snow around the holidays. But those that must deal with it regularly probably laugh at that. Merry Christmas and happy new year!

We’ve only had a light dusting so far, too. Reckon it’s on the way, though. It’s pretty cold – minus 15 at night!

Haha, I was relieved to see the beer truck rumble down our street today as well!

The beer truck triggered a silly memory. We whacky Winterpeggers have been known to have ‘barbeques’ on the coldest days of winter, naturally outdoors with plenty of hot liquid libation! Beer alas can never be on the menu… one guy tried… poor sod just couldn’t get over the fact that at -40’c his beer was gosh! Frozen solid?! Let’s just say he wasn’t from Winnipeg. 🙂
So here’s to avoiding the killer icicles and enjoying the Bavarian beer while you are all toasty warm indoors!!
Happy New Year!!

This was good from some smiles, as I swelter in our sub-equatorial summer. Sick of snowy Decembers? Just head south, young lady … way way south. Happy New Years.
