You’ll soon get the chance! I take it you’ll be studying abroad for at least a year once you start Uni? And after that, you can work virtually anywhere you want teaching English, if that’s what you fancy. World’s yer oyster 😉
Yes, my third year will be spent in France. To say that I am looking forward to it would be a gross understatement! Whether I’ll teach English, I don’t know but I do hope that my year abroad will point me in the right direction 🙂 Your posts continue to encourage the explorer within me!
I’m flattered 😉
I don’t have a shred of hard-core explorer in me, I’d much rather sit back somewhere nice and wait to be served up a slab of cake. Camping – totally out of the question. But you know that by now!
I have to admit, the slab of cake is far more enticing than camping. I should clarify that my inner-explorer is more keen to seek out ancient monuments and historical sights than spiders in his sleeping bag!
OK, thumbs up on the monuments front. That I can do!
Out of my 15,000 nights on this planet so far, I’ve spent 1 in a tent. And only because my Canadian friend, who I was visiting, insisted it was part of the authentic Canadian experience. Needless to say, I hated every second of it.
I can’t say that my Canadian experience was spoilt by a lack of camping! I hope you weren’t put off Canada by the ordeal – it can be a perfectly enjoyable place to visit without the portable stoves, sleeping bags and risk of moose attack! :p
Beautiful!

Thanks! I had to crop that one within an inch of its life, because of two really ugly air conditioning units on the bottom right.
